With the oldest part of the building dating from the mid 1700’s, Halsey Hall is among the best venues in Hertfordshire. Perfectly located for your guests, we’re a short drive from the M25 and a short walk from two mainline rail stations. Our private car park will accommodate around 100 cars and we’ve got some of the best hotels in Hertfordshire nearby. Where ever your guests are coming from Halsey Hall is in easy reach.
Every wedding reception we host is unique and our experienced, dedicated team ensure that your special day is one that you will remember forever. Halsey Hall can accommodate wedding parties from 80 to 150 guests.
Our rooms offer the ideal venue for your wedding reception. Our magnificent ballroom and fully stocked bars have seen plenty of celebrations. You can feel the energy and history when you enter the room. There is a reason we’ve been going so long, we know how to create memories.
Our fabulous function suite is the perfect set up for your reception. It’s got its own bar and being situated next to a small garden and smoking area, you won’t lose half your guests around the building. It can hold 120 guests for a formal sit-down meal or 150 for a buffet.

Main Bar
This contemporary bar is always fully stocked and makes a great venue to start your evening. In the summer we can open up the french windows so you can extend your reception out onto the outside seating area
Function Suite
This is our main wedding suite. With it's own private bar and huge dance floor, you'll see why this is the first choice for most wedding receptions.
